Responsibilities included reviewing RAMS and method statements, supporting contractors, carrying out site inspections, auditing permit-to-work arrangements and providing advice where conflicting work activities or other site risks were identified.

The Rivers Acid Replacement Project was undertaken at the Centrica Gas Storage facility in Barrow-in-Furness and covered the project from construction through to commissioning. The work involved multiple contractors operating within an active energy facility and required ongoing HSE oversight throughout the programme.
